I stumbled upon an IG post that led me to the quiz on my bias match. According to Cadena Laksis, who is a psychology graduate and relationship pattern analyst, she says that how we choose our KPop bias is not a random thing. It is something deeper that hits the core of what and who we are.
This was my result:

I guess it’s weirdly accurate. When I was doing this quiz, I had handsome oppa boss in mind. A bit of background as to why he’s my bias: It was actually his quiet demeanor that drew me to him first. And then, of course his vocals. But I also love how he pushes for what he wants and loves in his solo music, even if it isn’t the popular sound.
Going by the result write up, it’s true that handsome oppa boss has gone through a lot. He was never the one who first stood out. There was a period of time that he had conflicting thoughts and wanted to give up, but he held on and earned every fan bit by bit until today. That quiet strength like a fish swimming upstream. That struggle to push on when the world seems to go against you.
But that is also me. I term myself as a struggling content creator. There are days when I feel like what am I doing this for? But this is what I like doing right? But it’s not bringing in money, so do I still do this? Is this wasting my time? I don’t know. I really don’t.
The results, the Gwenchana…it’s true. Lene Marlin’s “Disguise” is my theme song. The feeling that I’m never enough is always there.
Have you ever felt some kind of emptiness inside?
You will never measure up to those people
Must be strong, can’t show them that you’re weak.
