I’ve been keeping the Diaryland Daily Prompts page open on my laptop in case I ever feel like answering a prompt and I guess today’s the day. This prompt was actually for yesterday, but I’ll answer it anyway.
What is something you always look forward to, no matter how many times it happens?
My birthday.
It’s the day I get a break from everything at home. I get to go out without caring about having to rush home to pick the kids up from school. I get to choose what I want to do or what I want to eat. It is truly my day off. I usually find a movie to watch or just do stuff that I usually don’t get to do. Like if I want to just nua in the library, I get to do it without any judgement.
