Diaryland writing prompt which I thought was worth giving a go.
What is a show or book you would happily start over from the beginning?
Hmmm…for show or rather, movie, I want to watch “A Walk to Remember” again coz the story was so simple and beautiful. The songs Mandy Moore sang for the movie were so iconic. And if I remember correctly, the way Landon described his love for Jamie was so gentle and beautiful.
Dang…actually all Nicholas Sparks’ stories begin with sickness and end with death, but the death is always beautiful though sad.
A book that I could read over and over again? “The Little Prince”. The first time I read it, I almost bawled at the ending. Did the Little Prince die? It’s not clear, but he disappeared for sure. I swore it was so sad that I wouldn’t want to read it again. But lately, I’m having the urge to read it. That childlike innocence throughout the story is like a reminder to never lose my sense of wonder. No matter how the world changes, to never lose myself. There are many moments where I feel like I’m losing a grip on my true self, that’s where I could go back to reading this book.
