When Will It Be My Turn?

I’ve known that people open group buys to buy albums to help increase their chance in scoring fansigns/fancalls. I happened to ask a Yeble one day roughly how many albums did she buy to score such things. Ok…not within my league.

Which makes this whole system skewed. Only those who are financially able and willing to spend will get a chance. Is it unfair in this case? Maybe? Maybe not? Depends how you see it. I mean, would someone buying only ONE album be lucky enough to score such things? I doubt so. But then, these are people willing to spend, so who’s to say the whole system is rigged? Anyway, at the end of the day, the company wins coz the sales are there. So, no chance they are going to change how the system works. If everyone only gets ONE chance no matter how many albums are bought, people aren’t going to go crazy spending. Also, who’s to say people won’t be “borrowing” email addresses and credentials to buy more albums for more chances? It gets harder to track “fairness”.

I guess after saying this, I may get called sour grapes or get cancelled. I mean, it is what it is right?

I’m happy for these Yebles who get to go to such things. I’ve befriended some of them and share their excitement even if I’m not the one receiving it first hand.

But…but…but…

I can’t help but wonder…

*small voice* When will it be my turn?

Maybe never.
