Today is coming to an end. The long-awaited holiday. *really? raises eyebrow* Tomorrow will be back to work. How I wish everyday could be a holiday and that I am loaded so I can go all around the world.

Yesterday in the office, everyone was in the holiday mood. Then the holiday came. And now it’s going to end. 😥

Went to Sof’s house for lunch. Yea yea…I was late again. Sof, why do you have to live so far?

I need to stop spending so much. But I’m dying to go shopping for clothes… Blah ah.

Olivia’s new song as Reira, “Wish” sounds more rockish. I much prefer “A Little Pain”. But Olivia looks pretty as ever, just like a doll.

I finally caught GYM’s PV for “フィーバーとフューチャー” on youtube. Yea…Mike is cuter lahz.

AAA is soon releasing their new double A-side single, Soul Edge Boy/Kimono Jet Girl. Yep, you can guess from the titles that the guys and girls have split to sing one song each. I’ve got both PVs and I must say I prefer “Soul Edge Boy”. “Kimono Jet Girl” sounds a little weird. “Soul Edge Boy” has well, a much edgier feel to it.

And thank God, Shinjiro decided to grow out his hair and not pin it up like he did in the previous single. From his boy-boy haircut in the earlier single “Dragon Fire” to his horrible pinned up hair in “Hurricane Riri, Boston Mari” to his cool hairstyle in “Soul Edge Boy”. Now, who cares about Nissy when you have かっこいい Shinjiro. :laugh:

So I was watching the PV for the new MM song, Ambitious! 野心的でいいじゃん。It seems Tsunku is trying to groom Reina as the new star for MM. Or perhaps it’s a sign that Reina is gaining popularity. Anyhow, you always know which girl is the favourite for a period of time coz she stands at the front, in the middle. I was a little mad though. Reina totally blocked Ai-chan in the PV. :angry:

Talking about Ai-chan, she no longer sports dolly bangs. Her fringe is now grown long and side-swept. As I watched the PV, I suddenly realised that Ai-chan’s new image makes her look a lot like Hilary Duff. Here’s some proof…

As for Gaki-san, somehow I don’t like her new image for the PV. The curls at the side of her face makes her face look puny. But it seems she gained a little weight back since SEXY BOY. Her huge weight loss made her face look so small with her hair framing it.

This will probably be Kon Kon’s last song with MM as she will be graduating from H!P soon. She’s leaving to pursue her studies.

I’m supposed to blog about Da Vinci Code but I changed my mind. Lalala… :whistle:

I’ve been playing online tcgs since last year. What’s tcg you might ask. It stands for Trading Card Game. Instead of collecting real cards, you collect pixelled cards. Jumped onto the tcg bandwagon after Nad introduced it to me. Well, I’ve been active at playing the games and all but I haven’t actually interacted with the other players till I joined La Musica tcg which is owned by Mysty. Now, I must say coz of her tcg, I’ve learnt about some artistes who are more obscure.

Thanks to Mysty and her tcg, I learnt of OLIVIA. Found out that she has been around for some time, moved out of the music scene and is now back to sing the ending theme for NANA, the anime version. The opening theme is sung by Anna Tsuchiya, another half American half Japanese girl.

Anyway, I asked Mysty for the PV for OLIVIA’s “A Little Pain” and I gotta say I’m in love with the song now. She’s so pretty…just like a doll. I’m sure you’ll agree with me.

Argh. Aikawa Nanase is coming to Singapore for some Singapore Arts Festival activity at Fort Canning but it’s not free admission. Damnit. $25. I’m not going to pay that much just to see her. It’s a programme with other artistes as well. Not that I’m a big fan of hers but at least she’s a Japanese artiste whom I know of. :glare:

Went to the airport to keep Per company as she waited for her parents to arrive home. Her mum gave her the wrong info so she was there too early. We had dinner at Pasta Fresca. I was a tad disappointed coz the pasta was just so-so.

Nothing much to blog about now. Bloop bloop bloop…*bounces away*

Somehow, I feel this one was done much better. I don’t know from where I dug out that much patience working on it at 4am in the morning. You know, I really should spend that much time on a layout. This Berryz Koubou one wasn’t done nicely. The blending seems to be quite odd. :glare:

I just watched 2 AAA lives for their new song “ハリケーン・リリ，ボストン・マリ”. I couldn’t help but think that if only 夏日风 were half as good, maybe they would stand a chance. I remember the judges saying that their dance seemed to be out-of-place and not nicely choreographed. Maybe they should learn a thing or two from AAA. AAA’s dance moves aren’t too complicated but they still leave a powerful impact as a youth group. They probably make the older generation go “あぁ～～良いな。。。青春～～”

I don’t like Shinjiro’s look in the new song though. I still like his look from “Dragon Fire”…

Too caught up in my thoughts and the recent SuperBand fever that I’ve left out quite a few things.

  1. Haven’t visted JpopMusic forums for a long long time.
  2. Forget to visit Binan no Nikki and friends’ blogs.
  3. Haven’t blogged on certain things.
  4. Haven’t made screenshots from Kanjani8 Spirits! dvd.

Point 1. I’m trying hard not to go there too coz there’s just too many temptations there. Too many things to download. Still haven’t cleared out my harddrive. I’m seriously lagging behind. Haven’t even downloaded the new dramas. Bleargh.

Point 2. I somehow forget to check on Binan no Nikki. Always end up having to go back at least 2-3 pages to read the entries. Ryo and Tacchon went to watch Da Vinci Code. So cool~~~ And I haven’t watched it. Shige talks about English and Computer class. He has bad luck manz. The computer he uses always hangs while he’s doing his quiz. I had a really bad thought. Imagine him getting the blue screen of death one of these days. Muahahahahaha… Friends’ blogs aren’t that bad…coz there’s usually not much to catch up.

Point 3. Fancy me talking about wanting to blog about Xiuwei’s party. Actually I don’t really have the mood to blog about it anymore. And I actually missed out with all the birthday wishes. So whoever I haven’t wished in my blog yet. Happy belated birthday to you guys! May all your dreams come true. 🙂

Point 4. Meant to make a screenshot of aho Maru in his “aunty” costume. To make an avatar out of it. Need to get it done soon so I can return the dvd to Per. By the way, Per, is my Summary concert vcd with you? Or is it just somewhere (lost) in my house? Can’t seem to find it.

Recently, my posters are all falling off the door/wall/cupboard. First it was my S.H.E poster, then the Arashi one, then the Ayu , and just yesterday, the Eriko one. It’s a sign that it’s high-time I change them. The plastic is all warped already. The big Ayu A Ballads poster on the wall just above my bed decided to drop in the middle of the night. Thank God it made a noise loud enough to wake me up before it actually dropped. Imagine waking up to an Ayu poster covering my face. But I don’t really want to change the plastic and all that coz it won’t be long before we move. So there’s no point at all. Maybe I’ll just change the blu-tack.

Just visited the SuperBand blogs. I must say that people can be quite stupid. Yes, it takes some guts to post a not-so-nice sounding comment. But please consider what might follow. Say your not-so-nice comment in blog A (belonging to a not-so-good group), that’s still ok considering the number of other people who are also posting their not-so-nice comments. But if you go post your not-so-nice comment in blog B (belonging to a popular group), I think you’re just digging your own grave. Simply coz the number of fans outnumber you and I don’t think the fans are just going to take all your “valuable” comments sitting down.

Be smart. Post in your own blog. Like ME…HAHAHAHA… Coz it belongs to you so you more or less have full control. :laugh:

Dreaming of being a star? Better think again. It ain’t that glamourous afterall. It’s a cruel world out there. It’s not enough even if you have good vocals. You need to be able to dance, act, host etc… 3-4 days, that’s all the time you’re given to learn a new dance. Slow learners, you can forget about eating or sleeping until you nail it.

Was watching this clip on Berryz工房’s journey from the day the unit was formed. Mind you, these girls started out when they were only 9-11 years old.

I really wonder how they juggled school and work. Work seems to be neverending. Recording. Learn the dance. Activities to promote the single/album. Back to the studio to record new song. A neverending cycle.

First incident. Dance lesson for first single, “あなたなしでは生きてゆけない”. The girls are formed into 2 groups to practise some dance steps. Momoko, Miyabi, Maiha and Chinami in one group. Saki, Yurina and Risako in another. Maasa wasn’t present for this lesson. After the first group danced, Maiha got reprimanded by the dance teacher that she needed to practise more. While the next group danced for the teacher, the first group should be practising at the back of the room. But somehow, Maiha was sitting alone in a corner…

Then comes the insecurity. The feeling that you’re so far behind the rest…the fear that you can’t make it.

So what if you’re in pain, life still has to go on. You can’t just give up as you like.

So you think you can handle it? This post is a reminder for all those who dream of becoming a star. It isn’t just what you see on tv. All the glitz and glamour. Instructors don’t care whether you can or cannot coz even if you cannot, you better make that cannot into a can.

Sometimes I wonder whether Maiha left the group coz she found it hard to juggle both work and studies. Especially since it seems that she is the slow learner for dance in the group. The company just released the statement that she graduated from the group to focus on her studies. I’m just speculating. What I’m thinking may not be true.

I know this is quite boliao to talk about especially when it’s 4+am in the morning. I changed my wallpaper. It’s similar to the previous one. I guess coz 10 April is coming and I wanted to do something for myself. So yay. :heart: Per and I were talking about Miyabi just now so I thought why not. She has some pretty photos but I gotta say that Risako’s one looks better this time. In case anyone can’t figure what the hell I’m rambling about…

And I finally got the PV for Berryz工房’s “ジリリ キテル”. They are growing up and Tsunku’s definitely marketing them as young ladies and not kids unlike what he did to Kago and Tsuji for at least 5 years. :whistle: I think Yurina’s having a growth spurt coz I don’t remember her being that tall. She’s 13 afterall…puberty. She is tall but didn’t think she was THAT tall. She’s really towering over everyone. 友理奈，你到底吃什么长大的? Poor Saki. Captain of Berryz工房, oldest but smallest in size.

Before I forget. It’s P’s birthday!!! And they are in Hokkaido. Still in the midst of the concert tour. お誕生日おめでとう!!!

Omg…it’s raining AGAIN. Yes, complete with thunder and a little lightning. And I should be sleeping. Alrighty, off to bed.

Recently, I got the shock of my life while watching MM perform their new song on Music Fighter. Risa was soooooo thin! Gaki さん, what happened to you? 🙁 Even 愛ちゃん is looking healthier than you. You must sleep well and eat more.

And while Gaki さん is terribly thin, P is getting fat. Well, apparently he’s trying to build up some muscles so his face naturally gets rounder? Hmmm…hope he’s not joining dear Massu at buffets. :rofl:

I finished watching “シンデレラになりたい” (Cinderella ni Naritai). Tacchon’s one-episode special drama. UWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA…かっこいい!!! :love:

Eri said that everything of NewS would be taken down at the Johnny’s shop after May. *smacks forehead* Oh ya, I totally forgot that they’ll be going on hiatus from May onwards. Was still planning on what to buy there. I guess that’s good? Coz that means there’s less to buy in Japan. Anyway, I guess this will be my last chance to buy NewS goods until they return maybe next year. *sigh*

Did this for fun. Sis got it from someone’s blog. Was saying that I hope I don’t kena someone weird…like Gackt or Miyavi. Just look at what I got. *faints* Since it’s a randomnizer, we tried again. Gackt. Tried again. Still Gackt. Why couldn’t I have gotten Tetsu (L’Arc~en~Ciel) or Jiro (Glay)? WHY?!
