Although NewS is on hiatus right now so fans will probably see less of you, I believe you are still living each day with much enjoyment. In short, you’re fine and 元気 as always. As a fan, I look forward to your new dramas and appearances in magazines. I look forward to see that sunshine smile painted on your face. Yes, I’ve yet to know your secret behind all that 元気-ness. So, may this day be funfilled, you being surrounded by lots of good food. May you receive lots of well-wishes from friends and family and may all your dreams come true.

And as for me, let’s hope that I can see you at the next NewS concert…

Just read Nino’s Jweb entry at Binan no Nikki. He expressed his wish to watch his own movie as a normal audience. Like a normal person going to watch a movie… That’s cool. Watching your own performance from the angle of a normal person then deciding whether you did a good job or not.

Reminds me of how Sly went to the SuperBand recording to support Lucify. Going there with a friend status to support his friends. Not wanting to attract attention to himself, he sat at the second level. Who knew, the fans readily pointed out his “hiding” place. Hahaha…I can just imagine him cringing and having the -_-||| feeling. *sigh* But that’s the downside of being a star. You sort of lose your privacy. It’s like suddenly everyone’s interested in the little things you do. I bet the media will even be interested as to how one brushes his teeth.

Too caught up in my thoughts and the recent SuperBand fever that I’ve left out quite a few things.

  1. Haven’t visted JpopMusic forums for a long long time.
  2. Forget to visit Binan no Nikki and friends’ blogs.
  3. Haven’t blogged on certain things.
  4. Haven’t made screenshots from Kanjani8 Spirits! dvd.

Point 1. I’m trying hard not to go there too coz there’s just too many temptations there. Too many things to download. Still haven’t cleared out my harddrive. I’m seriously lagging behind. Haven’t even downloaded the new dramas. Bleargh.

Point 2. I somehow forget to check on Binan no Nikki. Always end up having to go back at least 2-3 pages to read the entries. Ryo and Tacchon went to watch Da Vinci Code. So cool~~~ And I haven’t watched it. Shige talks about English and Computer class. He has bad luck manz. The computer he uses always hangs while he’s doing his quiz. I had a really bad thought. Imagine him getting the blue screen of death one of these days. Muahahahahaha… Friends’ blogs aren’t that bad…coz there’s usually not much to catch up.

Point 3. Fancy me talking about wanting to blog about Xiuwei’s party. Actually I don’t really have the mood to blog about it anymore. And I actually missed out with all the birthday wishes. So whoever I haven’t wished in my blog yet. Happy belated birthday to you guys! May all your dreams come true. 🙂

Point 4. Meant to make a screenshot of aho Maru in his “aunty” costume. To make an avatar out of it. Need to get it done soon so I can return the dvd to Per. By the way, Per, is my Summary concert vcd with you? Or is it just somewhere (lost) in my house? Can’t seem to find it.

Recently, my posters are all falling off the door/wall/cupboard. First it was my S.H.E poster, then the Arashi one, then the Ayu , and just yesterday, the Eriko one. It’s a sign that it’s high-time I change them. The plastic is all warped already. The big Ayu A Ballads poster on the wall just above my bed decided to drop in the middle of the night. Thank God it made a noise loud enough to wake me up before it actually dropped. Imagine waking up to an Ayu poster covering my face. But I don’t really want to change the plastic and all that coz it won’t be long before we move. So there’s no point at all. Maybe I’ll just change the blu-tack.

Just visited the SuperBand blogs. I must say that people can be quite stupid. Yes, it takes some guts to post a not-so-nice sounding comment. But please consider what might follow. Say your not-so-nice comment in blog A (belonging to a not-so-good group), that’s still ok considering the number of other people who are also posting their not-so-nice comments. But if you go post your not-so-nice comment in blog B (belonging to a popular group), I think you’re just digging your own grave. Simply coz the number of fans outnumber you and I don’t think the fans are just going to take all your “valuable” comments sitting down.

Be smart. Post in your own blog. Like ME…HAHAHAHA… Coz it belongs to you so you more or less have full control. :laugh:

I bet my mum would have said that if she was Japanese. Hina says this line in a very おばちゃん manner at the beginning of “∞SAKAおばちゃんROCK”. It sounds so funny. Direct translation: “Somewhere else is somewhere else, home is home!!!” Per said it’s probably a common saying for mums when they scold their kids. Like when their kids always come home late.

Oh…I have quite a few things to blog about. From the previous entry, the meme that made me so high… Haha…some people should know why. Give you a hint…Ma___. :woot: It was a meme rin-chan posted in the forum.

Second, Tacchon’s birthday. HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY, TACCHON! Per and I met up with Cindi and Julia again to celebrate Tacchon’s birthday on Tuesday. They couldn’t find a green cake again. Some explanation here…light green is Tacchon’s ranger colour. We ended up ordering desserts that were green in colour. With one exception, the red bean ice-cream which has a kanji (小倉) that almost looks like Tacchon’s surname (大倉).

After the dinner, I went to meet Sis at the airport to welcome Yui and Ryoko back from their trip to Japan. Haven’t read their report on the KAT-TUN concert which they went to watch.

Today, went to ktv with Sis and Per. Cash Studio at Apollo Centre. Good place if you want to sing Japanese songs coz they have this whole book of Japanese songs, almost phonebook thick. I think the only bonus for me, the one being the worst at Japanese, were the NewS songs. We were singing NEWSニッポン and 希望～Yell～ so loudly. :laugh: I can only manage songs that I have partly memorised or have lyrics almost all in hiragana and must be pretty slow coz I read pretty slowly. Which is why Per has been “reprimanding” me that I should go study Japanese. Too lazy lahz…hehe…

Oh. Mum just called me to go bathe. Shall end here. Thanks Per for sending me the radio rip of “∞SAKAおばちゃんROCK”. It goes on repeat mode everytime I listen to it. :rofl:

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY KIMI-KUN!!!

Was supposed to meet Per to go to the Japanese dolls exhibition but the bad weather spoilt everything. And I was late. Then we couldn’t get a cab coz of the bad weather so in the end, Per, Cindi and I went to Uma Uma Men.

Cindi’s friend, Julia joined us later and we spent the whole evening just talking about JE boys…especially Kanjani8…it being Yoko’s birthday and all. By the time we actually left the place, it was already 10pm. Cindi really wanted to have some Yoko birthday cake so we went hunting for cakes – specifically green cakes coz that’s Yoko’s colour. But as you know, all cake shops are closed by that time. Then we saw this ice-cream shop still open and thought “why not have green ice-cream instead?”

Told the girl to press down 3 scoops of ice-cream into the cup so the surface is flat. Asked for some chocolate sauce to write Yoko’s name but the nozzle wasn’t a fine one so it came out pretty splotchy. Thank God for Photoshop coz I decided to make it look better…hehe…

 

   

So I guess the day didn’t go that great coz…

  1. I was late.
  2. Bad weather
  3. Bad weather = lack of cabs
  4. Bad weather = lack of cabs = can’t go to the exhibition
  5. Couldn’t get green cake coz it was so late already.
  6. I forgot and left my umbrella in Uma Uma Men.

I was replaying the day’s events in my head while in the shower. Per trying desperately to flag down a cab. Us trying to be sheltered under my umbrella while running across the road. Wait a minute…pause thoughts. My umbrella. Shit. I’ll hate to part with my beloved umbrella coz I love its colour – light green. I asked Mum to get me a uniquely coloured umbrella after someone mistakenly took my previous silver umbrella at my then-workplace and she got me this one. 🙁

PS: You can see that this entry isn’t well-written. But that’s coz I’m tired… :sleep:

I updated my version of WordPress. I’m actually quite proud of myself that I managed to do something without having to consult Nad. Well…that is if nothing weird pops up these few days…

I was waiting for the last day of April to come but suddenly it’s May. Coz 30th April means the end of NewS’ concerts and the beginning of their hiatus. There have been many reports of the last day of the tour. Even before they performed at their last venue, there was big news. While the area was being constructed, some speakers fell from the top and hit a female worker’s head. Thank God it was just serious injury (DUH! 32kg on your head) and not fatal. I think NewS had better consult some feng shui master. Bad luck seems to be following them ever since they debuted. First, Moriuchi got kicked out. Then, Uchi got suspended. Then, Kusano’s incident. Then, the announcement of their hiatus. Now, this. *sigh*

Listening to “Dreams” will never be the same again. Ryo changed the lyrics while singing it at the concert. Shige changed the lyrics as well. Massu and Tego both cried when they were singing their duet. 7 months seems like a long time. But we will wait for their return. 😥 Hopefully by the time they return, NewS will be the full 8 member unit.

Ahhhhh…I just realised I forgot to wish Xianglin. Coz we celebrated her birthday on Saturday so it totally slipped off my mind. ごめなさい! So here’s wishing Koyama (1st May) and my best friend (2nd May) a very happy belated birthday! May all your dreams come true!!! Side note: That’s why I need the calendar to remind me. Haven’t got a fantastic memory. :glare:

Ahhhh…finished reading all the entries at Binan no Nikki. Some of the entries were really hilarious.

I think Koyama’s entries are pretty entertaining. With him talking about Tego’s cheekiness. And then him getting surrounded by noisy kindergarten kids on the train. Trying to communicate with them. あぁ…可愛い!!! :rofl:

And poor Shige! Not getting recognised in his classes. Everyone in his class seems to know that a NewS member is in their class but they don’t realise it’s him. One even thought Shige was pulling his leg when Shige said “it’s me” in reply to the guy’s question about a NewS member in their class. But isn’t that good too? Then nobody would bother you so much and you wouldn’t have to question anybody’s intentions of being friends with you.

Oh…and it seems Shige studies English. That’s something good… 🙂

big brother, little sister

I’m catching up with all the entries at Binan no Nikki. I seem to have missed out some entries as I tried to locate the entry where I last stopped at. So in the end, I decided to read from the beginning. Which isn’t really that much since they only started in March.

I just read Ryoちゃん’s longer-than-usual entry on his little sister’s wedding. I must say that this is the best Jweb entry I’ve read so far. I know I shouldn’t be too surprised but…his sister is only 20! And anyway, his sister is pregnant too. *sigh* Couples these days never really think of the consequences. Luckily the guy is someone who’s responsible.

What he said to his brother-in-law over the phone: “Good Luck. If you make my sister cry, I’ll never forgive you. The entire Nishikido household will make you full of holes. Good Luck.” *pause* ちょ…ちょっと待ってください… :rofl: I can so picture Ryoちゃん saying that in his most serious voice. :rofl: But I bet his sister would have this 幸せ feeling if she heard her brother saying that. Ahhhhhhhhh…I want an older brother too! :rofl: I heard that older brothers are very protective of their younger sisters.

I believe that under his tough exterior, Ryoちゃん is actually quite an emotional person. He cried so much at his sister’s wedding!

Relax…only for the rest of this year. But that was bad enough for me to go on a mini spree, since I heard that from May (their hiatus) onwards, everything of theirs will be taken down in the Johnny’s shop. Which means that when I go to Japan this year, I won’t be able to buy anything of theirs. 😥

Massu uchiwa, Massu file and tour pamphlet. Ahahahahaha…pink spots! :rofl: Still love the uchiwa from Summary concert coz that’s the only one so far with his name in kanji. His hair is somewhat a little messier for this uchiwa. :love: The contents (photos) for this tour pamphlet is better than the previous one.

Group poster. I had doubts about getting this poster. There wasn’t a photo to show how the poster looked like when I ordered it. I was prepared to sell it if it didn’t look good. After browsing the Japan auctions, I saw the photo for it and well, it didn’t look good. But when I collected and saw it, I think it looks fine. 🙂 So, I’m going to keep it afterall.

I saved the best for last. The Massu poster!!! *fangirl scream* :heart: :heart: :heart: It’s like whoa! Huge! His face is even bigger than mine! The second photo is to show you how big the poster is with relation to the bed. Now I understand why Mini (Cynthia) freaked out when her mirror reflected Yoko’s eye. Sorry, photos had to be taken at a slant since the light’s reflection can be seen when I take it upright.

With that, I’m now seriously broke. 🙁
